An incredible event: get on board the "Piemonte", the oldest steamship in Europe (1904), moored for the occasion in Stresa: take part in the show among the tables illuminated by early twentieth century lanterns: in this magical atmosphere Santa Claus will join you!

The Video Call is a live conversation with Santa and your child (or brothers and sisters) lasting about 10 minutes, which you can make from your phone, pc, tablet or laptop. Other family members, perhaps grandparents or friends, can also attend the video call, connected from their homes.

How to book and how much it costs

You can book online directly on our website (click here) - You can also book by phone from Monday to Friday from 9 to 13 at 0323 497349. When you book, choose the time for the show on the Piedmont steamer and the meeting with Santa Claus, all other activities are open hours.
What the ticket includes

The FULL Ticket includes the show and the meeting with Santa Claus on board the Piedmont steamer moored in Stresa (without navigation), with the delivery of a gift to each child. The visit with the show lasts about 45 minutes.
What happens in bad weather

The program runs regularly as all areas are covered and heated. The Piroscafo Piemonte also has covered, glazed and heated rooms and is moored in Stresa, therefore accessible in all weather conditions. The 2021 edition was designed precisely to offer the possibility of spending a beautiful Christmas day even in case of bad weather. On days of bad weather we therefore highly recommend booking because the request will be greater.
Accessibility with strollers, disabled people, dogs

All areas are accessible: strollers can be accessed at the ticket office with the welcome point and there is also a storage area reserved for strollers. On board the Piedmont steamer for the show and the meeting with Santa Claus it is necessary to leave the strollers on the ground so as not to hinder the movement of the actors. Disabled people with wheelchairs can also access the Piroscafo Piemonte for shows and meetings with Santa Claus (indicate this when booking so as to reserve an adequate seat). Dogs are welcome and must be kept on a leash, only small dogs can get on board the steamer that are in the arms of the owner or in the carrier (so as not to hinder the movement of the actors with the leashes)
Refreshments, packed lunches, services

At the reception point at the Palazzo dei Congressi in Stresa you will find the refreshment points, the free area for packed lunches, services, the nursery for changing diapers, breastfeeding and every need. All areas are covered
Flexibility, covid refunds

On the steamer (show and meeting with Santa Claus) and the motorboats (for nativity scenes on the island) it is mandatory to wear a mask and the rules in force for local public transport apply. For all other areas, the regulations in force at the time of the event apply. With the flexible date ticket you can change the date up to 8 days in advance.

If you wish, you can complete your day or your Christmas weekend in Stresa by hunting for nativity scenes in the characteristic streets of Isola dei Pescatori, inhabited all year round by very few fishing families. In the winter months the island is made fascinating by the small nativity scenes that the inhabitants make along the alleys, inside the boats, under the arcades, among the fishing nets.
