Saturday 4 and Saturday 11 June, at the Benedictine Monastery of Germagno, 15 minutes from Omegna (Lake Orta - Verbania), a unique experience, in small groups. The monks will guide visitors, adults and children, to discover their workshops, with 4 activities-demonstrations: - from the orchard to the production of jam - honey and honey extraction - the production of cider (from fruit to liqueur) - flavoring of grappas and liqueurs There will also be a moment of meeting dedicated to - the life and the monastic rule Those who wish can also participate in the moments of prayer of the Monks (15 minutes) scheduled at 9:30 - 12:45 - 15 : 00 For each date there are two shifts: first shift from approximately 10:00 to 12:30 second shift from approximately 14:00 to 17:00 The activities will take place in small groups within the production workshops of the Monastery (which has its own shop with the products of the Monastery), in any weather condition. Where the Monastery is located

To reach the Monastery from Omegna (Verbania), follow via Vallestrona up to Germagno, cross the village towards Alpe Colla (with signs for the Monastery). Park at Alpe Colla (piazzale Ristorante La Baita) and continue on foot for 500 meters in the direction of the Monastery (take the car up to the Monastery only if there are people unable to walk, for the loading and unloading of passengers - seats cars are limited)
