The experience begins at the Molo delle Luci di Baveno (free parking) in Piazza IV Novembre in Baveno: a heated lounge with braziers, views of the island, selfies, and a festive atmosphere. Departures at sunset from Baveno for Isola Pescatori on reserved Christmas motorboats, at the booked time, with return to Baveno at your own time (approximately every 15 minutes - last return at 7:30 PM - or after dinner on the restaurant's motorboat for those who book dinner at Ristorante Italia), included in the ticket.

Also included in the ticket: Fisherman's Platter with fried lake fish and golden potatoes (for adults), served hot on the island and prepared by the historic Ruffoni family (Ristorante Italia). For children, toasted marshmallows and hot tea are available in the heated Lounge Area in Baveno at the departure point of the motorboats.

The island's lighting was designed by the Isola Pescatori Tourist District of the Lakes and Ecomuseum of Fishing and is themed "Water Textures." The scenic lighting was conceived to evoke the island's ancient fishing tradition through graphic and chromatic suggestions, from the patterns of the nets (projected onto the facades of the houses) to their dyeing (in the colors used on the buildings)—highlighting the two existing stoves (one of which is still in operation)—to the production of "missoltini," the sun-dried shad that can be admired in many vintage postcards of the island and which are projected onto the facades of some illuminated houses.

Just a few minutes from Piazza IV Novembre, where you'll find the heated reception lounge and the pier for boarding at Isola dei Pescatori, you can visit Villa Fedora Park, with its golden Christmas house and numerous events organized by the city of Baveno (free admission). Just 10 minutes away, you can visit the traditional nativity scenes created by locals in the streets and courtyards of Romanico (a hamlet of Baveno).
